Firmament ablaze.
To herald in the sun.
Oranges give way to reds.
A new day has begun.
Light’s exuberance,
and essential vitality.
Despite the cold,
And the wind’s brutality.
Awakens optimism,
Banishes dread,
That possesses mind.
From sadness it has led.
Atmospheric beauty.
The infant day sighs.
Fire tones give way to blue.
The sun is on its rise.
